Overlap between the candidate's skills and what the role requires. Missing must-haves drag the score down proportionally.
20%SALARY
Job max salary vs candidate's minimum target. Full score if the range meets their floor — no surprises at offer stage.
20%EXPERIENCE
Years of experience vs the job requirement. Slightly over means full score. Significantly under reduces the match.
10%WORK TYPE
Remote-first, hybrid, or on-site preference matched against the role. A mismatch is labelled, never silently penalised.
10%REGION
Americas / EMEA / APAC alignment. Global roles score full regardless of region.
