Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026 · See also Privacy Policy

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using thedream.work, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What the Platform Does

The Dream Work is a job matching service that connects software engineers ("candidates") with technology companies ("companies"). Candidates create profiles; companies post job listings; the platform computes match scores and facilitates connection requests between the two sides.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Each person may hold one candidate account. A company account is tied to one registered owner.

4. Candidate Rules

Your profile must accurately represent your skills, experience, and employment preferences. You may apply to any active listing. Accepting a connection request means you consent to sharing your name and email with that company. You may withdraw an application at any time before a terminal status is reached.

5. Company Rules

Job listings must be for genuine, currently open positions. Listings must not be misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful. You may not use candidate data obtained through the platform for any purpose other than evaluating and hiring for the listed role. You must not contact candidates who have not connected with you.

6. Payments and Refunds

Posting a job listing requires a one-time fee of €199 per listing, billed through Stripe. Payment is charged at checkout. Listings are activated upon successful payment confirmation. Fees are non-refundable once a listing is activated, except where required by applicable law. Auto-renewal, if enabled, charges the same fee when a listing expires.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: submit false, misleading, or abusive content; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or automate access to the platform; use the platform to spam or harass other users; impersonate another person or organisation; or attempt to circumvent security measures.

8. Intellectual Property

The platform, its design, and its code are owned by The Dream Work. You retain ownership of content you submit (your profile, job listings). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to display and process it to operate the service.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts for terms violations, abuse, fraud, non-payment, or actions that harm other users or the platform. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee job placement, interview outcomes, or hiring results. Match scores are algorithmic estimates, not hiring recommendations. We are not a party to any employment agreement between candidates and companies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Dream Work is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which The Dream Work is established. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
